The Softail® Blackline™ was exclusively previewed an event in New York City on January 20^th 2011.

Built for freedom seekers who just want to get on and go, the Harley-Davidson Blackline™ motorcycle has a clean look, simplified profile, and defiant attitude that embrace the pure essence of riding.  
Beautifully stripped-back, uncomplicated and uncompromising, we’ve only done what’s necessary to give you the thrills you seek. With smooth lines that echo our iconic 70s hardtails, the Blackline features our lowest seat height, with an all-new Split Drag handlebars and a narrow 144mm rear tyre with chopped fender.  

The compact headlight and speedometer are tucked low into the wide, FX front end, and there’s just enough shine to make the black parts look blacker. Black-rimmed laced wheels complete a look that’s tough, tempered and undeniably Harley-Davidson. The hidden Softail suspension means you can adopt a comfortable, yet aggressive riding style with minimal effort and maximum attitude 

The Blackline™ takes its name from the road that’s heading wherever you choose.
